Teacher Ari-Anna
I have lived in Oregon my whole
life. I attended Western Oregon University where I obtained my Teaching License
in 2011. In 2013 I moved to Portland to work on my Masters in Education from
Concordia University.
In my free time I love to spend time outside, in my garden, hiking, camping, crabbing and clamming with my Dog and Husband. We also like to go cross country skiing in the winter. I love spending time relaxing with friends and family, and lending a helping hand with whatever they might need. I am very excited to be a part of Molalla River Academy this year. I love every day working and learning with my students and often refer to them as my “kids”! I look forward to getting to know your student and your family over this year. |
Teacher ShannonIt is an honor to work in the Trillium classroom at MRA, and I’m thrilled to be starting my second year as an instructional assistant in the Trillium room. I have worked in a variety of classrooms over the years, both here at MRA as well as other schools in our area. I have a passion for working with students of all abilities and meeting students where they are as individuals. In addition to working with our kindergarten students, I am the lead instructional assistant and lunch coordinator for MRA. I love working at MRA and feel it is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow, and I get to learn and grow right along with them!
My children have attended MRA since it opened in 2009, and I currently have a daughter in 6th grade and a daughter in 4th grade. My husband and I have been married for 14 years and have lived in Molalla since 2005. We love the quiet life here in Molalla. We have several pets, and my chocolate lab mix, Baby, is often joining me at school and lounging around the Trillium classroom. In my free time I enjoy running, hiking, reading, and I’m an avid knitter. I am thrilled to be working with Ari-Anna this year and I know she will be an amazing asset to MRA. I’m looking forward to starting our year of learning, exploring and laughing together! |
